Why do I do what I do?

“Give sorrow words,” – Macbeth

IMAG2091Facing difficulties and struggles, and allowing ourselves to express pain is helpful, and is ultimately transformative. I love seeing people flourish in an atmosphere of care, trust and acceptance. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

Having walked through testing times in my own life, I find that I am drawn to people in pain and difficulty. I enjoy listening, giving time and undivided attention. I believe it to be a privilege when another person trusts me with their thoughts and feelings, hopes and fears; when they talk with me about past experiences that are important to them, even when it involves fear and pain, struggle and grief. I have seen people change, grow and flourish in a safe environment of caring support. I believe that for you.

I believe firmly that counselling offers a relationship which enables clients to bring about powerful and permanent changes in their lives.
